Hi there! My name is Melani. Pronounced Melanie, just without the "e" in case you were wondering. I am beyond excited you're interested in learning more about me, and the services I provide.

I'm a wife and mom of three little humans named Kema, Kody & Maverick. I was born and raised  in Durham, NC. This is where the magic happens in my studio for sessions.

You also may be wondering how I got started. I previously was a birth and postpartum doula. I've always loved babies and assisting others during their special life moments. During that season of life I played with the idea of offering newborn photography services, but life took me down a different path at the time. Well, here I am again and ready to create some wonderful memories for many families as a Newborn & Children Photographer.
